She was back on Grey’s Anatomy last night — but don’t expect to be seeing Katherine Heigl hanging around Seattle Grace Mercy West for much longer.
ABC confirmed today that the actress otherwise known as Dr. Izzie Stevens will be taking another leave — this time it’s maternity leave — so that she can take time off to be with her husband, Josh Kelley, and their newly adopted daughter, Naleigh.
Look for Katherine to make her great return to the show in early 2010, but no specific dates have been finalized.
