After hitting a fashion sour note in an age-inappropriate Michael Kors number at last night’s ACE Awards, a casual yet chic Jessica Simpson is all smiles as she engages in some much-needed retail therapy on Tuesday afternoon.
Rocking jeans, a cropped green peacoat (loves it!) and oversized sunglasses, the blonde beauty easily dropped some massive bank as she hit up Bergdorf Goodman in New York City with her bodyguard.
Meanwhile, Jessica has revealed her reservations surrounding her upcoming hosting duties on The View and it involves none other than Angelina Jolie.
The singer-turned-failed actress, who is scheduled to co-host two episodes of the hit show, is worried she’ll be forced to interview Angelina Jolie and relive her nightmarish first appearance as a host on the show.
She says, “The first time I co-hosted on The View I had to interview Angelina Jolie. I was really, really star struck, in awe of her beauty… She’s amazing.”

She’s been looking fantastic lately! She really is a very pretty girl. I think she will do a good job on the View as she will bring a new opinion to the table and a ‘celebrity’ opinion as well. Since Elisabeth left they have really needed a younger person as well. I can understand why she would feel intimidated by Angelina. I think most people would. Not only is she gorgeous but she is very smart, independant and confident. Love her!
