Jennifer Garner tended to her parental duties this morning (November 9) as she was spotted dropping her daughter Violet off at school in Santa Monica, CA.

Taking a break from her signature jeans and t-shirt combo, the 38-year-old actress looked sharp and ready to do business in her tweed skirt, gray cashmere sweater and knee-high boots.

Jen later headed to an office building for a late morning meeting with a number of studio bosses. It was a rare solo outing for Jen as eldest daughter and constant companion Violet was busy learning her A, B, C’s.
