A handful of self-praising Hollywood types showed up to last night’s 11th annual Accessories Council Excellence Awards at Cipriani in New York City.
The ACE Awards was created in 1996 to pay homage to those individuals and groups that have made great strides in raising the awareness of the accessories industry. Yes, there truly is an award show for everything!
Among the mingling melange were La La Land’s latest BFFs, Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore. (Britney, Paris and Lindsay are so last seasons!)
Winners — including Marc Jacobs for Designer of the Year; Heidi Klum (host of Project Runway) for Fashion Influencer; Mandy Moore for Fashion Innovator — were prized with personalized crystal minaudières, designed by Leiber president Frank Zambrelli.
Jessica, who recently signed a majorly lucrative contract with Macy’s, was on hand to honour the retailer’s Chairman, President and CEO, Terry Lundgren, with Retailer of the Year Award.
Attendees included supermodel Helena Christensen, actress Kerry Washington and a Valentino-clad Lucy Liu.

Jessica needs to actually do something besides “appearances.” Why does anybody give a shit about this plastic twat??? She’s useless and talentless.
I am just sick of the fake hair on Jessica. She looks soooo much better and fresh when she has just her own shorter hair. She looks like a cartoon of herself half the time if that makes sense.
I feel like Jessica is on every single red carpet. Doesn’t matter if it’s in L.A. or New York, she’ll find a way to walk it. Uggh. What is she actually doing these days?
