Only days after proclaiming his sobriety, shocking images and video have surfaced showing drug connaisseur Pete Doherty shooting up heroin.

Much like every other one of Pete’s bi-monthly drug shockers, the entire incident was recorded on a cell phone.
Pathetically, the Babyshamles frontman was just quoted as sayiing: “It’s hard work. I think I miss it [drugs] a bit. After years of entrenched drug abuse, you have a mourning period. I know it’s a bit sad, but I’m in mourning. I’m in mourning for an armful.”
Guess it’s safe to say the mourning is finally over and the party has begun.
UPDATE: Doubts have been cast over the timing of the video and its authenticity as a tattoo on his neck of his son’s name seems to be missing and Doherty appears slimmer than in recently published photos. Our thoughts?

You know who isn’t on drugs? His ex-bandmate Carl Barat; he’s extremely gorgeous, nice and just as talented. Also he isn’t high and bloated. We should talk about him and celebrate him not this moron.
This is old footage anyway…obviously Pete Doherty is a tool but there are people in the press who prefer a junkie Pete to a sober one…

Have you seen Pete recently? He’s become a bit chubby. That’s an old vid, he’s no more so thin.
(plus, as many here say, there’s no sign of his neck tattoo).

It’s recent, as the article clearly established: The green wristband he’s wearing is the same one he needed for VIP access at the World Music Awards just hours before.
Why is anyone surprised? The guy is druggie scum. I wish Kate had dangled *him* out a window… and let go.
I feel for him. He’s obviously just gotten so far into addiction that he can’t find a way out. Its really sad to see. I hope that he gets the help that he needs.
