The University of Central Florida has lost its $3 million exclusive contract with Adidas after basketball player Marcus Jordan’s insisted on wearing his father, Michael’s, Nike Air Jordans for the school’s opening basketball game.
While the rest of the team wore their Adidas shoes with black trademark stripes, Marcus laced up his pair of white Air Jordans last night (November 4), although he did add a pair of black ankle braces with the adidas logo prominent displayed.
The moderately talented 18-year-old son of the NBA legend says UCF had promised when recruiting him to the school that he could wear the famous Jordan brand.
As a result, Adidas spokeswoman Andrea Corso tells the Orlando Sentinel in an e-mail that the UCF “has chosen not to deliver on their contractual commitment to Adidas. As a result we have chosen not to continue our relationship with them moving forward.”

I can’t believe he actually got to keep his stupid shoes and the team lost out on a $3 million contract. I hope his daddy reinburses the school for the contract.
Shame on the Jordan family. Get over yourselves.
I have a feeling Michael Jordan will soon be making a $3 million donation to the school.
What a fucken crybaby douchebag kid.
Silly people, direct your criticism towards the UCF recruiters who assured Marcus Jordan he wouldn’t have to rock the adidas.
Wow. What a cocky jerk. Much like his father I guess.
No reggie, the scorn should be directed at Jordan for costing his school the endorsement deal. He is an entitled jerk just like his father except that he doesn’t have the talent.
I guess hataz just gotta hate.
what a spoiled brat!
Who would take money out of their parents wallets? The Jordan brand is all this kid knows. He brought up this possible problem up when he was recruitted. Schools fault for hidding the truth.
people with no money or talent for this sport or any other should just fall back. Im sure the persons who think micheals son is a jerk is probably racist, jealous, stupid and quite possibly the brunt of everyones jokes in school, what would you do if your father was micheal jordan idiot?
