Avril Lavigne may be mired in an emotional slump after her breakup with husband Deryck Whibley but there’s nothing like being pampered and beautified for a photo shoot to boost a girl’s confidence!
The newly single Canadian rockstress looked amazing Wednesday afternoon (November 4) as she was carted to and from her Los Angeles trailer, staying warm in a personalized robe embroidered with her name before disrobing to reveal a sexy black outfit.
A tattooed makeup artist even touched up the singer/actress as a personal driver escorted her, with her assistants seated close behind.
Miss Lavigne is currently working on her fourth studio album, which is due out in early 2010. The album will be a return to her older musical style and is going to be largely acoustic. Tracks on the forthcoming album include: Everybody Hurts, Black Star, Gone, Fine and Darlin, the latter being the second song Avril ever wrote as a 15-year-old while living in Napanee, Ontario.

Bad style as always. If she keeps up the rocker/skater girl image for her new album, it will flop like nobody’s business. She needs an image overhaul.
Deryck wrote and produced most of the album. He will be making all the cash from the new album.
