After spending a week promoting her new fragrance, Reese Witherspoon returned to her day job today (November 4).
The Oscar-winning actress was spotted playing baseball in Los Angeles this morning as she filmed scenes for James L. Brooks‘ upcoming and untitled project.
And while she’s busy reshooting some critical scenes for her new flick, Reese is still shilling In Bloom, for Avon.
“When we came up with In Bloom, it just sounded like a great name,” Miss Witherspoon tells Us Weekly. “I thought it should evoke a feeling that was reflective of what was going on in my life. I think that In Bloom captures the idea that I’m at a time in my life where I feel very confident with my work, with my personal life — and that it’s a time to really blossom.”
Reese also says she incorporated memories from her childhood.
“”We started with a set of ideas … about sensory memories,” she adds. “What it was like growing up in Tennessee and what I remember of my mother [and] my grandmother wearing perfume-wise. A large part of my childhood was spent in my yard with a gigantic magnolia tree, so I knew it had to have magnolia in it.”
