“I have never discussed the intricacies of it and I never will,” the 42-year-old actress says in the new British GQ, featuring her on the cover looking like a dominatrix.
Nicole also reveals that she even set fire to some of her diaries after she married Australian singer Keith Urban in 2006. “You can’t read somebody’s diary. You shouldn’t read it. I burnt most of my journals after I remarried… You’re only going to find out bad things.”
And while she’s famously shy, Nicole does talk about love and sex. “I’ve explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff, I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy,” she says. And it appears as though she’s not referring just to her movie roles.
As for marriage now? “You work on it,” she says. “It’s a very extraordinary, adventurous place to be: incredibly raw, incredibly dangerous and you’re very much out at sea. You’re exposed. You could drown.”

Sarah - I think she looks great! And I love that fact that she kept silent during her divorce from Tom Cruise. The press nearly tortured the woman back then to try and get some dirt, but she never took the bait. Classy lady. Makes me admire her all the more.
Ughhh…I can’t stand this woman. And she hasn’t looked anything like this cover for years and years. In real life she is skinny, pale and her hair is scraggly and a weird blonde/red color. I feel like everything she says she is just trying to get attention with. Stop talking about your relationship with Tom. He NEVER mentions her.
Totally agree with Sarah and Jones - She looks gorgeous with her statuesque build and fierce red hair; and yes, she kept her mouth shut tight through her divorce unlike some other famous divorcees out there who couldn’t shut up about their situation. But she also wished Tom and Katie well when they got married, even sending them a wedding gift. That says a lot about her, considering Cruise cheated on her with Penelope Cruz while shooting Vanilla Sky. Cruise is a total scumbag! Thank goodness Kidman is free of that toxic mess! Hopefully Katie will leave soon then he can start scouting out wife #4!
