John Mayer was all smiles as he signed autographs for fans while arriving for sound check at Paddington Chapel in Sydney, Australia today (November 4).
The adult contemporary crooner is currently on a world tour promoting his new album Battle Studies, which came out October 27.
Meanwhile, John says he loves the “vulgar” theme of his new album — though he didn’t intend it to be that way.
“I was loving the war theme, the battle theme. The militaristic, vulgar, violent side of a relationship on the down slope. The record starts out sort of like the sun is out, then it gets darker. And then the sun comes back out at the end,” he tells Rolling Stone mag.
“The album is the next step in the story of who I am,” he adds.
