Distressed and disheveled, Katie Holmes stopped by the Boston, MA sandwich shop B. Good on Sunday (November 1).

The part-time actress was looking a bit worse for wear with wet hair and no make up, but feigned a half smile as she made her way inside.

Departing with two bags worth of food, Mrs. Cruise acted every bit the supportive wife as she made her way to the set of Tom Cruise’s film Wichita for lunch.

Meanwhile, Katie has stepped into the shoes of Liv Tyler in an independently financed comedy The Romantics.

The film, to be directed by Galt Niederhoffer, also stars Anna Paquin, Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood, Adam Brody and Jeremy Strong.

Its story revolves around eight friends from college who reunite for a wedding, where Katie plays Laura, the maid of honour to Anna’s Lila, the bride. Laura and Lila are best friends who both have a past with the groom played by Josh.
