IN THE NAME OF FASHION

2009-cfda-vogue-fashion-fund-event

The fashionistas sashayed out in full force this afternoon (October 29) for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood.

Lead by style savy starlets likes Jessica Alba and Diane Kruger, a bevy of beauties were on hand to support the fashion world — particularly young fashion designers.

The Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue magazine created an endowment to support the next generation of American fashion designers. With monies raised, they aim to generate sufficient income each year to fund significant financial awards to one or more designers and provide business mentoring.

Celebrity attendees on hand to check out all things up-and-coming in the fashion world included the likes of Camilla Belle, Eva Mendes, Jordana Brewster, M.I.A., and, of course, Mary-Kate Olsen.
