While Ben — who was wearing a bright Red Sox beanie — kept bundled up as he directed the scene, 38-year-old Jon could be seen leaning out a second floor window as he channeled his inner FBI agent.
Meanwhile, fellow Town actor Titus Welliver is singing Ben’s praises.
“He is an ‘extremely generous’ director,” he says. “He knows what he wants and has good instincts. He helps you along.”
As for what it’s like working with a guy who is the writer, director and star of the movie? “He motors through the whole thing,” says Titus. “He’s on that caliber.” He adds: “When you saw Gone Baby Gone, did that look like the work of a first-time director? That was like (a director’s) third or fourth effort.”
And as for how Mad Men star Jon is handling his newfound fame? “Not well,” Titus cracks. “I have to do his hair now.”
