The festival ran through the final three years of the 90s, but will return with an initial 18-city tour throughout North America and London, starting next year.
No word on the artist line-up, yet, but past performers include Sheryl Crow, Christina Aguilera, Erykah Badu, The Dixie Chicks, Missy Elliot, Nelly Furtado, Queen Latifah, Indigo Girls and, of course, Miss McLachlan.
In a day and age where every little pop singer is dancing around in her sparkly underwear, a little girl power is just what music needs!
