Joined by an army of needless security, Paris and Nicky Hilton arrives at Narita Airport in Chiba Prefecture, Japan on Saturday afternoon to promote Samantha Thavasa’s handbags and accessories.

Last year, Nicky designed handbags for popular Japanese street brand (sold mostly in Japan). Some of the other bag designs from this line include the infamous “star” style that the sisters seem to carry in every colour.

The cost of hiring the Hilton’s for an afternoon of shameless shilling? A cool $500 000 each. What’s more? Paris was paid a staggering $2 million last weekend to appear in Russian fashion designer Kira Plastinina’s 2007 runway show during Moscow Fashion Week.

Pretty impressive when you consider the fact that Paris has the uncanny ability to instantly turn whatever she’s wearing into trash!
