After forking over $3 million, Adidas is none too please with the moderately skilled 18-year-old son of the Chicago Bulls legend hitting the basketballl court in Nike Air Jordan’s.
That said, Marcus says he’s standing firm on his position.
“When I was being recruited, we talked about it,” he tells the Orlando Sentinel. “They said they had talked to the Adidas people, and it wasn’t going to be a problem. I think everybody understands how big of a deal it is for my family.”
He adds that he means no disrespect to Adidas and will happily rock the rest of its gear, “but the shoes are going to be Jordan brand.”

not unsportsmanlike at all! just honoring the greatest ball player to grace the courts and practicing integrity, instead of whoring himself out to a sponsorship. dude is keeping a good balance here.
Air Jordans are the best I have seven pairs!
What a self important douchebag.
Kick his butt off the team.
I can see the dilemma I guess. I mean if my dad had his own brand of shoes I would be wanting to wear them as well, but if the whole team is signed with Adidas then why should one player get special treatment just because of who his dad is. In the end it’s just shoes.
They should kick he butt off the team
If the team was fully aware of this prior to him starting with them, then they dropped the ball if they didn’t clear it with Adidas.
Stick to your gund Marcus Jordan!!
guns.. typo!
