It’s another day, another foot to run over and another potential legal battle for Britney Spears.
The LAPD is reportedly conducting an investigation into a traffic mishap this morning, when Brit ran over an L.A. County Sheriff deputy’s foot following her last custody hearing in Los Angeles.
We’re told the “traffic collision complaint” was filed by the Sheriff’s Department and the LAPD is conducting an “active investigation.” We’re told the LAPD is looking at the possibility of hit and run.
Luckily, the victim has no broken bones but is hobbling around on crutches and has been reassigned to light duty.
As you may recall, Britney most recently drove over a paparazzo’s foot while leaving a medical centre after getting collegen injections into her lip.
Sorta makes you wonder — how many feet must be run over before this train wreck gets into a serious car wreck?

Hey, if you don’t want to get ran over, don’t stand in the way of a moving car, certainly not one Britney’s driving. You’d think a fucking cop would know that. I’m not even a Britney fan but I do hope the whole running over feet thing continues for people not smart enough to stand clear of motor vehicles! Talk about an invasion of personal space.
She was leaving court & the police were supposedly clearing the paparazzi but obviously this dumb cop standing at the rear of the vehicle got run over … seriously, i’m not a fan of britneys but give the girl a break … if someone is standing at the rear of your car, you have a million paparazzi at the front all screaming & shouting then of course she’s not going to know she ran over someones foot - it’s not like you fell it in the car … so for the police to be looking into ‘hit & run’ just shoes how god damn stupid lapd are - spend the time catching the murderers, rapists & gangbangers that plague this city instead of someone who ran over a dumb bitch cops foot [thats not even broken for crying out loud!]
The papparazzi is one thing, a deputy is another BUT the deputy is at the back, passenger tire, how in the world would Britney know she ran over a foot? I don’t see how hit and run would apply.

if you look at the footage of that day and this moment, her car is being swarmed, riot style. its scary and disgusting that even the lapd is delirious and cant contain the crowd.

From what I understand, the cop was directing her which way to go to get through all the paps. He told her to go left (where they had cleared the way) and she went right, running over his foot in the process. In classic Britney fashion, she was told to drive AWAY from the paparazzi and instead drove towards them. It’s her fault and she’s a total dumbass. No question.
I’m always surprised how many people work so hard to defend poor pitiful abused picked-on Britney. You know, people she wouldn’t cross the street to spit on, people she’d run over without slowing down, people she doesn’t even know exist… otherwise known as her loyal fans.

I think the police department should be filing charges against the paparazzi. It’s their fault that he needed to be there in the fist place and it’s their fault that they keep getting run over. I am not a huge fan of Britney and don’t buy her cd’s. I know she’s a train wreck, but I cringe when I see how many people are following her and are surrounding her on a daily basis. What happened to the telephoto lens? Do 50 people really need to surround one picture to get a shot? And, with so many people taking so many pictures of her, are the pics really worth any money?
