After recently announcing the launch of a new mass-market campaign to raise funds, the pair made their dream come true by digging up some dirt in preparation of the playground.
In only a month the Richie-Madden Children’s Foundation had raised $35 000 needed to build the playground though a pay-per-text fundraiser.
The new playground will provide more than 1000 children in the community with a safe place to play every year.
After the event, Nicole tweeted: “Thank you to everyone who participated in the Text CHILD campaign. We are giving these children a chance to have an imagination and be free. Just left Beyond Shelter. It felt great to be back. The playground has happened thanks to all of you who helped!”

good for them but mostly i’m glad she still has some pregnancy belly/curves. Hopefuly, she’ll stay like that a little bit more.
You gotta admit, these two are pretty awesome. They seem solid. I hope they beat the odds and stay together.

I agree that they make a great couple. They seem to just really click and have a lot of fun together. She has settled down so much since being with him as well, she really does seem like a different person that the Nicole from back on the original Simple Life. She looks adorable here!
