Shortly after gracing the red carpet at the L.A. premiere of ‘Lions for Lambs’, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes reportedly hopped an east-bound private plane headed for Manhattan, where she’ll run in Sunday’s New York City Marathon.
As FYB reported last month, the 28-year-old actress has been doing secret pre-dawn training runs in Beverly Hills and Berlin.
We’re still a little skeptical that Katie will be able to run the 26.2 mile marathon, but hey, if Oprah and Diddy can do it, who says the former actress doesn’t have what it takes?
UPDATE: If Katie really is running, we wonder what name she’s using. While Lance Armstrong comes up on the NY Marathon search site, there’s no obvious Holmes or Cruise. Hmm……..

WOW. She looks gorgeous here, seriously smoking. Tom looks like the pathetic one next to her for a change! Her eyes look focused and she almost seems like she controls her own thoughts….hah!
Ah well good luck to her in the run anyway. I wonder if there are any Scientology requirements she has to do before the run like bathe in a vat of molten silver and add an inch to Tom’s heels….
