New mom Katherine Heigl was spotted out and about with adopted daughter Naleigh Kelly yesterday.
The Grey’s Anatomy actress, who adopted the 10-month-old Korean girl last month, was in Los Angeles with her husband Josh Kelly and mother Nancy Heigl.
Toting a pink nappy bag, Katherine looked every inch the doting mother as she tended to her little girl’s every whim and wish.
Naleigh is a special needs baby who born in South Korea. Speaking on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Katherine revealed: “She is a special needs baby and because of that, it all moved so much faster. They wanted to get her to us as quickly as possible.”

oh how percious is she! she looks like a doll, awh.
A nappy bag?? I guess we’re British now.
I want to know what Naleigh’s specials needs are.
Definition of Special Needs:
In the USA, Special needs is a term used in clinical diagnostic and functional development to describe individuals who require assistance for disabilities that may be medical, mental, or psychological. For instance, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the International Classification of Diseases 9th edition both give guidelines for clinical diagnosis. People with Autism, Down syndrome, dyslexia, blindness, or cystic fibrosis, for example, may be considered to have special needs.
Naleigh’s special needs SHOULD remain out of the public domain, it just isn’t fair OR necessary to let us know. This you can know, in the year 2008 Korean people adopted domestically 12 children who were Special Needs but 713 were adopted to other countries in Inter-Country Adoptions. The first five months a child can only be adopted by Koreans, then it is available for ICA. A special needs child is not wanted by most Korean people, sadly.
Let us give Naleigh some privacy…I for one think she will grow up with a loving family, and remember her aunt was a Korean adoptee.
