
The A-list crowd stepped out in full force tonight (October 15) for the 6th annual Keep A Child Alive Black Ball at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
Hosted by Alicia Keys and Padma Lakshmi, the star-studded affair brought out the likes of Halle Berry and Gabiel Aubry who were on hand to raises funds for the non-profit organization and recognize the work of influential humanitarians, entrepreneurs, entertainers, and politicians to better the world.
Keep A Child Alive provides life-saving anti-retroviral treatment, care, and support services to children and families whose lives have been affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India.
This year, President Bill Clinton was honored for his work with the William J. Clinton Foundation and The Clinton Global Initiative. Sir Richard Branson, meanwhile, got a nod for his efforts to promote sustainable change through Virgin Unite. And finally, Youssou N’Dour was awarded for his tireless efforts to combat disease in Senegal and throughout Africa.
Celebrity attendees at tonight’s festivities included the likes of Adrian Grenier, Iman, John Mayer, Kerry Washington, Mary J. Blige, Nick Cannon, Paula Patton, Robin Thicke, Samuel L. Jackson, Stephen Dorff, Tyson Beckford and R&B crooner Usher.
