Six-year-old Falcon Heene’s family appeared on a March episode. The show site says the Heenes are a “storm-chasing, science-obsessed” family.
Meanwhile, on the boy’s father’s MySpace page, Richard Heene writes that he hosts “a documentary series and radio show to investigate the mysteries of science, The Science Detectives, and I chase storms. Last year I flew into Hurricane Wilma to take magnetic field measurements. This year I rode a motorcycle into a mesocyclone.”
UPDATE: In the middle of a news conference, authorities announced that Falcon Heene has been found at home and is fine. He was hiding in a cardboard box in the garage attic. The authorities theorize the boy hid after the balloon broke loose, afraid that his parents would be angry.

I am sure his dad regrets being such a weather dork now.
HAHAHA D - man that cracked me up.
But so true.
I think its so funny the kid was hiding. I did the same thing playing hide and go seek growing up. My parents called 911 cuz they thought I’d been abducted. Man did I get a licking when they found me.
