The star-studded inaugural event premiered the 48-year-old actor’s new animated movie, Fantastic Mr Fox. Based on Roald Dahl’s book and set to open November 25, George voices Mr. Fox and co-star Meryl Streep voices Mrs. Fox.
At a press conference before the red carpet affair, perennial bachelor George revealed that there are kids in his future — albeit no his own.
“I’m going to adopt some of Brad Pitt’s kids,” he joked. “I owe him a few.”
Mr. Clooney appears in two other films at the London festival — Canadian director Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air and Grant Hestov’s The Men Who Stare at Goats.
