Joined by Randy Jackson and Kimberly Caldwell, country music temptress LeAnn Rimes attended the Yahoo Celebrity Yodeling Competition in New York City today (October 13).
The internet search giant opened a recording booth above Times Square’s Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan this afternoon as part of its global competition to discover its next corporate yodeler.
Miss Rimes stopped by to serve as in-studio vocal coach to the yodeler-wannabes.
Meanwhile, though she’s opted to remain largely mum about her alleged affair with actor Eddie Cibrian, LeAnn says her personal life inspired songs on her next album, which should be out in the spring.
“Most of the stuff I’ve written [myself], so it’s definitely my life,” the 27-year-old singer tells People mag. She adds that the subjects of the tunes are split “down the middle between heartbreak and love.”
As for the constant tabloid coverage? “That’s what they do,” she tells Access Hollywood. “But I’m good. I’m really happy and I try not to let that bother me. I don’t read it.”
