Hugh Jackman and his family were in good spirits as they retuned to their apartment in New York City yesterday (October 12) after having spent the day celebrating the Aussie actor’s 41st birthday with his family.
Joined by his lovely wife Deborra-Lee Furness, Hugh helped tow his adorable kids, 9-year-old Oscar and 4-year-old Ava, back inside after they fell asleep on the ride home.
Meanwhile, Hugh will be among the many celebrating all things creepy and otherworldly at Scream 2009.
Joined by Tobey Maguire, Quentin Taratino and Megan Fox, Hugh is set to appear on the Spike TV special, which will be taped Saturday at the Greek Theater and air October 27.
Liv Tyler, Sam Raimi, Elijah Wood and comic-book legend Stan Lee will also take part in the fourth annual event honoring sci-fi, fantasy and horror work in TV and film.

Vampires will have a heavy presence at this year’s event, as the cast of HBO’s True Blood is expected and Twilight star Taylor Lautner is set to show footage from the forthcoming film New Moon.
Stay tuned for red capret coverage….

For a person whose father was absent during my youth, I marvel at what an amazing dad Hugh Jackman is. Really adore this guy.
Happy Birthday Mr. Jackman. I too adore you.
Sigh. Just looking at this man makes me happy. I don’t care if he’s straight, gay, or tri-sexual. He’s positively dreamy!
