It may look like the most cheeseball movie of the year, but that didn’t stop Penn Badgley from attending the premiere of his new flick, The Stepfather, at the SVA Theater in New York City last night (October 12).
Joined by co-star Amanda Heard and girlfriend Blake Lively, the 22-year-old actor was on hand to present his new horror thiller amid a star-studded audience.
Helmed by Nelson McCormick, the flick is about a young man (Penn) who returns home from military school only to find his mother (Sela Ward) happily in love and living with her new boyfriend (Dylan Walsh). As the two men get to know each other, he becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand.
Celebrity attendees at last night’s premiere saw much of the Gossip Girl cast, including Chace Crawford, Ed Westwick, Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen.

All these Gossip Girl people will never be heard from again after the show is over. It’s all hype. I have noticed that no one cares about them on blogs. It’s just all PR and hype. This movie looks like a joke as well.
Are they contractually obligated to always appear at each other’s movie premieres and side projects?
Cuz no one else would show up, right?
Also is Penn like 5′5″? haha
Was it really necessary to go through the synopsis of the film? I mean it’s a remake, people know what it’s about.
