While Tom Cruise was busy at work, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri took advantage of some free time by running at a track field in Boston, Massachusetts today (October 12).

After burning some serious calories following a half lap, the mother-daughter duo hit the stairs for some intensive cadio sculpting. While Katie was eager to play the role of track coach to her three-year-old little girl, she quickly switched into mom mode when young Suri took a tumble and hurt her knee.

Meanwhile, it’s no question that Katie is an exercise enthusiast — but now she has apparently vowed to help hubby Tom keep off those extra pounds by suggesting they spice up their love life!

“Tom had been complaining about how hard it is to keep off the pounds, so Katie vowed to help him out,” a source tells OK! mag. “Katie read somewhere that you burn up 600 calories just by having sex three to four times a week. So she’s told Tom to think about how much they’d burn up if they put daily sex sessions on their schedule! Tom thinks the sex order is the best part of Katie’s diet plan, and he’s promised to up the bedroom romps whenever they are in the same town just for the sake of his diet!”
