A radiant Beyonce arrives at Halim Perdanakusuma airport in Jakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday.

The 26-year-old shapely songstress is set to perform in Jakarta tomorrow after scrapping a November 1 date in Kuala Lumpur amid speculation that she objected to a strict dress code banning sexy attire in Muslim-majority Malaysia.

Malaysian fans disappointed with the cancellation still have a chance to watch their girl perform as Jakarta is only two hours away from Kuala Lumpur.

All’s well that ends well, I guess.

She looks really good here! I like her better when she is more natural looking. She tend to go crazy with the hair, makeup, and outfits and ends up looking like a man in drag.

Yeech. She looks like Mama Knowles and never is that a compliment.
Also I understand freedom of expression and all that jazz but is Beyonce so worried about what she has to offer talent-wise that she can’t make a few adjustments for a COUNTRY?! All they want is her to wear more modest outfits which can still be glamorous. If this was about changing her lyrics then I might understand…..
Surely its all about the music what in the good weave hell does it matter what she does or in this case; doesn’t wear? She just likes hoochying it up then I guess. She has no respect and…whatever.

fuck you adam have you ever even been out of the US? Yes malaysia is a conservative country but it is absolutely not a “radical oppresive misogynist sharia promoting” nation. you need to respect that not everyone has to fit into your little boxes.
hmm i think beyonce looks good here (even with the lacefront!) she always looks so much younger casual than when she’s dressed up.

This is from wiki, so take it with a metric buttload of salt:

“Although the Malaysian constitution theoretically guarantees religious freedom, in practice the situation is not so simple. All ethnic Malays are Muslim as defined in the Malaysian constitution.[33] Additionally, all non-Muslims who marry a Muslim must renounce their religion and convert to Islam. Meanwhile, Non-Muslims experience restrictions in activities such as construction of religious buildings and the celebration of certain religious events in some states.[34][35] Muslims are obliged to follow the decisions of Sharia courts. As a legal matter, Muslims may not apostatise very freely, as doing so involves the Sharia court. The Sharia court is governed by judges who are trained in Sharia law. Generally, one who wishes to leave Islam makes a legal declaration, but this is still not recognised by the Malaysian civil courts. One has to obtain a declaration of apostasy from a Sharia court and the court will only grant the apostasy after the court is truly convinced that the petitioner no longer has faith in Islam. This may be considered a very tolerant position for a Sharia court.”
    .
Based on this? I don’t think I get on so well in Malaysia.

i saw B’s ad for that Diamonds perfume on the back of a marie claire mag and almost died laughing- they made her legs look like GISELLE’S.
    Absolutely hilarious.
I like Beyonce, and like a lot of her songs, but we know those legs are thick and pretty fucking huge. (I don’t think she’s fat, her legs are muscle, but come ON)

She looks sooo much better when she’s not so dragged up. She should go with less makeup more often. Would be even better if she ditched the weave, we all know she has it so why bother? Why not embrace your natural hair…putting glue in your hair all the time can’t be good. Is that what she uses? Glue? I saw that ad too PSL…way too over the top. B is dreaming if she actually thinks she looks like that.

i only said it because arasto loves to inject pejoratives only for things he doesn’t like.
sas, have you read the koran recently? or do you read it 5 times a day? you are a dhimmi. or a radical muslim apologist. or a radical yourself. that’s it.
everyone should google ‘prophet of doom’ and read about the true meanings in the koran.
muslims and their lib apologists are soo funny…pushing their, ‘i need to be more tolerant of their intolerance.’ talk about orwellian!
    sharmutas.
