Britney Spears’ former assistant is going on a promo campaign in an attempt to tarnish the already broken and battered image of the once princess of pop.
Kalie Machado, who briefly worked for Britney during the peak of her post-pregnancy breakdown, tells Us Weekly that following the break-up with Kevin Federline, Britney desperately tried to win him back.
“She wanted so badly to have the father of her babies. When Britney thought about Kevin not wanting her, she would bawl,” Machado says. “She would look at Sean and Jayden and say, ‘Where’s your daddy? I need help. Where’s your daddy?’”
Sadly, her obsession didn’t end there. Brit reportedly kept framed photographs of she and K-Fed all over the house: “She would ask, ‘Why did he do this to me? It just made her crazy and depressed.”
Adds Machado: “She needs mental help!”

Two things about these pictures. Firstly they are old, as she hasn’t been blonde in a while and that hair looks natural…so pre-shaving. And secondly why are they so bad? They look like most party pictures to me. She’s just smiling and having fun with her friends…nothing too shocking there.
I feel sorry for her. I really think she wanted that happy little family thing for her, and Kevin was just so obviously the wrong person to want that with. I’m sure most women ideally want the father of their children to be with them. Britney’s no different. I’m sure that the divorce was what sent her spiralling, she couldn’t deal with the failure of her marriage and being left to look after herself. She was blinded by love…really sad.
