Though his reps would beg to differ, Justin Timberlake’s grandmother Sadie Bomar says the SexyBack singer is “single” and only focused on his career.
Bomar says JT — who has been dating Jessica Biel for nearly thee years — was never fully committed to the actress.
“Jessica was keen to marry, but Justin isn’t ready,” she tells the UK’s Closer magazine. “The girlfriends come and go, but we believe nothing has ever been serious. Justin does his own thing and he isn’t ready to marry just yet.”
What’s more? Justin apparently does “care about” Jessica — but the couple has definitely split.
“Justin and Jessica did break up,” says a source. “They were very busy living separate lives this summer and they drifted apart. Justin broke up with Jessica weeks ago, but he’s a goody guy and he does care about her. They will always stay in touch because he works very hard at friendships with his exes. Jessica is obviously sad, and Justin is still around to be there for her. Photos will still surface of them together because they will remain friends, and anytime she needs him, he will be there.”
