David Letterman apparently apologized to his wife while taping his late-night show today (October 5).
Audience member Tracy Frye, of Dallas, Texas says, “David apologized to his wife and his colleagues at Worldwide Pants. He said he didn’t really think through what he said on-air last week and how it would affect his co-workers.”
Dave also apologized because he now realized that people would speculate he was involved with women on the show with whom he had no sexual relationship.
According to Frye, “He made a direct apology to his wife and said: ‘I have a lot of work to do’. I think he was being sincere.”

Sexist jerk has never respected women.
I can’t stand this douchebag. His wife should leave him because chances are he’ll do it again, although why anyone would want to be with this arrogant jerk in the first place is beyond me. Good riddance to him and his sucky show.
I had always seen the signs in his disdain for women.
