If you were wondering why Lindsay Lohan looked so worse for wear while at the presentation of Ungaro’s Ready to Wear Spring Summer 2010 collection earlier today, here’s your answer.
The 23-year-old actress-turned-artistic advisor to the Parisian fashion house was up until the wee hours of the morning last night (October 3) partying away with the likes of Busta Rhymes in Paris.
As you may recall, the Woo Hah! rapper famously confessed to a radio station a few years ago that he once hooked up with Nicole Richie (a.k.a. LiLo’s former pal-turned-faux) during her less maternal days.
Meanwhile, the reviews of the Ungaro collection under LiLo’s eye are in — and they’re not pretty.
Some highlights:
Toronto Star: “Though there are plenty of celebrities visiting Paris this week, including Janet Jackson, Rihanna and Katy Perry, none appeared to be present at Lohan’s show.”
WWD.com: “Lindsay, it’s time to get serious about reviving the acting career….As for the clothes, they looked cheesy and dated, as has often been the case chez Ungaro during the post-Emanuel revolving door of designers….Being a young, pretty, controversial woman who looks good in clothes and photo ops just isn’t enough.”
L.A. Times: “But by far the worst offense were the glittery heart-shaped pasties worn under suit jackets. In a word, why? They were just begging to be laughed at.”
ABC News: “More questionable looks included a white bustier dress so short it left the model’s rear hanging out, spandex bandeau tops and a suit worn with nothing more substantial underneath than sparkling heart-shaped pasties. In a baffling move, many of the models had larger versions of the pasties affixed to their foreheads.”

It is not going to end well for Lindsay. Let’s call the drug what it is: meth. And the chances of her cleaning herself up before it’s too late are slim to none.
She really is a complete trainwreck. The saddest thing about it though is that she actually thinks its cool to be trashed out all the time…I think it’s because on some sick twisted level she wants to die young. She wants people to see her as a young, tortued talented actress…unfortunately its all in her mind.
Ungaro deserved all the criticism. Who the fuck would hire Hohan as a “creative” whatever. She looks like shit all the time.
look how badly spears ended up awhile ago and has bounced back. who knows, this one might do a complete turnaround one day too.
i guess it’s just more newsworthy to watch them when they hit rock bottom.
