Did John Travolta’s public acknowledgement that his son Jett, who died in January, was autistic mark a change in the actor’s religious beliefs?
Former Scientologists are wondering if he will leave the church considering that the organization has little tolerance when it comes to chronic conditions.
John and wife Kelly Preston, have long said their son suffered from a syndrome caused by exposure to chemicals from carpet cleaning. The cause of death listed on Jett’s death certificate was seizure. And while John and Kelly were clearly dedicated to their son, some ex-Scientologists believe Jett may have gone without appropriate treatment because of the church’s teachings.
Should John come to terms with his son’s diagnosis, it’s possible that the church will eventually lose one of its most high-profile members.
And considering that much of their cash comes from celebrity donations, that is not good news for Scientology.

If he left that “church”, it would be the silver lining in this cloud.
It wouldn’t be that easy to leave that church. Scientology blackmails high profile celebrities into membership. If he left. I’m sure there’d be a hefty price to pa)m
