When you’re a mega-star like Tom Cruise, borrowing a police highway patrol motorcycle and joy-riding without a helmet is completely within your rights.

The 46-year-old actor enjoyed the perks of his celebrity status Tuesday morning (September 29) in Boston, Massachusetts with a leisurely spin around the base camp before the day of filming began.

Like a scene out of Top Gun, Tom refused a helmet and hopped on the motorcycle, letting the cool fall wind blow through his aging brown locks.
