With a chic new messenger bag over his shoulder, Gerard Butler was spotted strolling through the Meat Packing District in New York City today (September 28).
The 39-year-old star could be seen stopping to quickly chat with fans and giving a wave goodbye before hopping in a taxi and fleeing the scene.
Looking better than ever, Gerard is currently in the Big Apple to begin promoting Law Abiding Citizen. For the vendetta fantasy flick, the Scottish actor had to slim down for the shirtless scenes — and it wasn’t easy!
“I want to eat my potatoes and french fries and sponge cakes,” says Mr. Butler. “When I play a role like this, I can’t have my carbs and it makes me crazy.”
And now that he’s wrapped up production The Bounty, you can say goodbye to those rumours he’s dating co-star Jennifer Aniston. Capping off what has been a constant barrage of hook-up rumours, Gerard says: “I love her to death. She’s the coolest and she’s become a great friend, but there’s nothing going on. And if there was, I’d be happy to say it!”
