Is there anything more annoying than a cellphone going off in a quiet place? Apparently not, according to Hugh Jackman.

The hunky Aussie actor was less than impressed to be interrupted by one during a recent a preview performance of A Steady Rain, the Broadway play that stars Hugh and Daniel Craig.

Breaking out of character for a moment, Jackman to the audience, “You want to get that?” The audience instantly erupted in cheers.

As the ringing persisted, Jackman said: “Come on, just turn it off.” He paced the stage of the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre until the ringing stopped. The play resumed shortly thereafter.
