Taking a break from his on-set tirades, Christian Bale and his wife and daughter were seen heading out of their home for the afternoon in Los Angeles yesteday (September 27).
The 35-year-old English actor looked tanned and toned on his family day out — a sharp contrast from the emaciated and pale Bale we saw just two months ago as he was filming his role of boxer-turned-trainer-turned-drug addict Dickie Eklund in The Fighter.
Meanwhile, Christian will soon begin work on the upcoming sequel to Batman blockbuster The Dark Knight – and rumour has it Charlize Theron is in the running to play super-villain Catwoman.
“I like that,” says the 34-year-old Oscar-winning actress. “I think that what has happened to that franchise is amazing, and director Chris Nolan is a genius. So I would be an idiot to not consider that.”

i don’t think she would be a good catwoman. for such a franchise they could literally have their pick of anyone, and i personally wouldn’t put her on the top of my list
I think it is time to get a new Batman..Bruce
Wayne.why bother with Christian Bale… after
all this movie could be done with an unknown
Actor.. Release him from the curse of Batman.
Let him get on with his life…
@lisa,he signed for 3 Batman movies what happens
Get your facts straight - you idiots….
For his whole 20+ year career - there was one time he had a “tirade” and it was all the fault of an “unprofessional” lighting director who wasn’t doing his job.
There have not been multiple “tirades”.
