Spending a mother-daughter day out, Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck were seen running a few errands today (September 27).
The pair could be seen braving the rain in slickers and rain boots as they happily bounced through puddles all afternoon long.
Meanwhile, the producer of Jen’s latest film has described the 38-year-old actress as a “classic mom.”
Lynda Obst, who produced The Invention Of Lying, says of 3-year-old Violet and 8-month-old Seraphina’s mother: “Most of the time that I did spend with her when it was off-set, Violet was cooking with her, or reading Jane Austen, or doing one of these remarkable things that Violet tends to do. [Garner] encourages her kids to be independent. And at the same time not television watchers. Readers. Thinkers. She is kind of old-fashioned. She is a very classic mom.”
The Invention Of Lying hits cinemas nationwide on October 2.

Now if only she’d spend the same sort of quality time with her OTHER daughter.
she dresses like a little kid. those boots, ugh. and i never noticed how her eyes are so close together and beaty
No doubt she’s a good mom. I hate her boots though. And her coat.
Ask Scott Foley how old fashioned she is!
