Did Katherine Heigl try to “upstage” Ellen Pompeo by making her adoption of a 10-month-old Korean girl named Naleigh public on the the same day that her Grey’s Anatomy co-star gave birth to a daughter of her own?
Well, that’s what sources are accusing her of!
“It was very curious timing for her to drop that,” an insider close to both ladies says. “It was an adopted kid — she could have chosen any other day to make it public. Why compete?”
Interestingly, Ellen waited until Wednesday to confirm to the press the birth of her own little girl — which was the same day Katherine and her new family appeared on the cover of People magazine.
The source adds: “It looks like they were trying to one-up one another.”
Not surprisingly, reps for both new moms have declined to comment.

Just when I thought Katherine was softening up with a new baby, she proves to be the ultimate bitch again.
When I heard that Ellen had her baby last week, it made the timing of Heigl’s announcement a little suspicious, and given her reputation, nothing surprises me about this woman.
