During their neverending custody battle this morning, lawyers representing Kevin Federline asked that Britney Spears’ deposition be videotaped, claiming that her expressions and tone of voice (i.e. sarcasm) are equally as important as the mere words she speaks.
Well, FYB has learned that the shamed star will not be taped during her deposition in the case, avoiding what would likely be humiliating leaks to the internet.
How did Brit’s lawyers maneuver around the request? They claimed the chances of the tape ending up in the wrong hands are simply too high. Good point.
Brit-Brit and K-Fed are expected in court in less than two hours (at 4:30pm EST) for their first joint appearance in the custody case.

It shouldn’t be taped, it would leak. And if she got out of having her mug shot released when everyone else’s was posted, like this would get out in the public. You have to admit shes pretty good for making sure the REALLY bad videos of her dont leak, only the ones that she gets publicity on.
Please do all in the galaxy a huge favor and refrain from updating anything about Spears. But DO entertain us with some more interesting/controversial gossip.
Her lawyers didn’t want that shit taped because when she talks she sounds like an IDIOT. If the judge saw that shit he would lock those babies in K-Fed’s basement and never let them out.

They’re recorded, via stenographer. I love reading my son’s biological mother’s deposition and hearing the atty pin her down. Yay for a giggle or seven.
The whole purpose of the request was so that it would leak, and she’d be smeared even more. Everyone with a brain can see that.

I agree that is shouldn’t be taped. The chances of it leaking are very high and I think thats a real invasion of privacy for a custody hearing to be available for the whole world to hear. I think people forget that Britney is a real person who has the right to privacy just like everybody else. Sure she’s done some crazy things but some parts of her life should be kept out of the public eye. This involves her boys and even if Britney doesn’t deserve the privacy- they do.
Those new lips and that hair make her look like Lindsay Lohan at times.
