David Beckham had quite a little surprise waiting for his wife when he picked up Victoria from LAX yesterday.
And, no, it wasn’t a bouquet of airport bought flowers.
As Posh tip-toed her way out of the airport, she was greeted by her hunky beau who was sitting in their new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet.
The cost of the Beckhams’ latest ride? A whopping $200 000 plus another $200 000 worth of upgrades and pimpage.
Perhaps a fortune to me and you, but it was mere pennies for the $250 million golden boy.

I hate when celebrities do that. I know it’s their money, that they can do what they want, but these idiots could seriously do so much good with their “pennies”. Like on 911, when all those celebs did that telethon and asked us to send in money, all I could think about was how frivolously they spend millions of dollars each year. Sad.

I agree Jen! It is pretty disgusting the things people blow money on that is just for their ego. It cracks me up how celebrities go to these charity events or auction their stuff off for the average joe to buy. Uhm, why are you asking us for $$ because we have to actually work a full week to make what you make every second of your life. I would LOVE to see Victoria live off of say $350 a week. Yah right she would die.
They are total conspicous consumers. Spending money simply so the press will publicize it.
They are here for such a short time on earth and they choose to live their lives in this manner. Nice.

Tom Cruise didn’t buy them any cars. David even put that rumor to rest and said that he bought all his own cars. Sometimes the stories about celebrities are just bs. I think that if you make all that money you should be able to spend it. We normal people might not make as much as celebrities but we are allowed to splurge and buy whatever we want with our savings and not be told how wasteful we are. At least they can afford it and aren’t going into bankruptcy and have astronomical credit debt like many Americans do. The beckhams work hard for their money and should be able to spend it how they like.
You shouldn’t yell at the beckhams for “blowing their money” and not giving it to charity. The beckhams have giving MILLIONS to their own charity that provides things like specialty wheelchairs, beds, prosthesis, etc to very ill children. And I don’t even know how many millions David probably raised as being the Unicef ambassador and doing other charity works and auctions. Even the Spice Girls song Headlines is the the UK Children in Needs song which means that the proceeds go to a charity that helps disadvantage kids in the UK.
So if they want to spend some money blinging out a car they should be able to without people judging them. Because its their money and they should be able to do whatever they please with it.
I’ll bet the Los Angeles Galaxy management is kicking itself right now. They paid him a bloody fortune and got almost nothing for their money.
That’s a very serious car—hope he knows how to drive it.
Very hot car!!! I’m sure he’ll look great in it :-). I really like them as a couple, they have had their problems but they really seem to love each other. What’s wrong with them splurging on a new car? If they can afford it…why the hell not?

yes it’s their money. leave them alone. it’s amazing a couple could so be in love. come on they have been together for 10 years, that’s got to mean somthing.
