The stars stepped out in full force last night (September 23) for the Clinton Global Initiative Opening Reception at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Leading the pack of celebrities were none other than power couples Cash Warren and Jessica Alba and new parents Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Honsou.
The Clinton Global Initiative was established to turn ideas into action and to help our world move beyond the current state of globalization to a more integrated global community of shared benefits.
Last night, the focus was primarily on how women and girls remain largely ignored by development aid around the world.
“Whether the issue is improving the involvement of young women and girls in education to climate change and all political and social economic issues in between, I think empowering women is central to what the world has to do in the 21st century,” said the former American President.
According to the Nike Foundation and NoVo Foundation, girls get less than one cent of every dollar of development aid.
Other actors, actresses and activists on hand for the event included the likes of Julia Ormond, Michelle Yeah, Lisa Ling, Chelsea Clinton and Fran Drescher.

You can throw all the hardworking middle class’ taxdollars at all these orgs. and you might as well burn the money cause things won’t change a bit as long as dictators around the world manipulate us.
Try saving the world with HW’s money …fat chance.
Next on the plate a one world currency and a one world government.
