Taking a break from Fashion Week fun, Anna Wintour shopped the afternoon away on New Bond Street in London yesterday (September 23).
The legendary American Vogue editor made a stop at Fenwicks for some department store goodies before hitting S J Phillips Ltd who deal in antique jewels and precious metals.
Meanwhile, speculation continues to swirl that Conde Nast want to replace Miss Wintour at the helm of Vogue with Carine Roitfeld, the equally thin yet infinitely edgier editrix of the mag’s French sister publication.
Could the mag’s recent besiegement of falling revenues finally push publishers into making the long-awaited move? Alas, time will only tell….

Anna is boring & needs to be let go from her job at vogue! Her taste is so middle America and commercial. Love Carine - her vision, style and love of fashion are what American vogue needs!
Saw her the documentary The September Issue last weekend. The bitch is an ice queen.
