Dancing With The Stars pro Karina Smirnoff is kicking off a new PETA campaign called ‘I’d Rather Dance Naked Than Wear Fur.’ The ad was shot by celebrity photographer Robert Sebree.
“I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine,” admits Miss Smirnoff. “But there are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel.”
Smirnoff stopped wearing fur after watching video footage of baby seals who were killed for their skins. Realizing how cruel it is “when we take advantage of an innocent animal that cannot defend herself,” Smirnoff gave up fur for good.
Smirnoff joins a growing list of celebrities—including Pamela Anderson, Khloe Kardashian, Eva Mendes and Charlize Theron—who have starred in PETA’s anti-fur ad campaign.

I agree, I mean they just put anybody in those ads, nothing against this model, is just that I think is more of a business behind all.
