Grey’s Anatomy actress Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery have welcomed their first child.

“Her name is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery,” says the 39-year-old actress’ rep. “She was born Sept. 15.”

The only celeb baby name tha I liked so far is the one Sarah Michelle gave her daughter, Charlotte Grace but that’s pretty much it.

Not only is Stella Luna a children’s book, it’s the name of a BAT, for chrissakes.

Ellen should have let the epidural wear off before she doomed that child to a lifetime of hearing, “Oh, so you’re named after a BAT?!?” comments.

I’m curious why Pompeo is in the name, the name should be Stella Luna Ivey, which sounds lovely…
