Before jetting off to Las Vegas to perform at her sold out show tomorrow night, a Lanvin-clad Gwen Stefani joined Sheryl Crow and Alicia Keys in hosting The 2007 Black Ball, an AIDS fundraiser benefiting the Keep a Child Alive charity, at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City on Thursday.
Gwen and Alicia both performed at the benefit concert while Sheryl was on hand to honour celebrity humanitarian Bono for his work fighting against the global AIDS epidemic.
Among those who came out to show their support were TV cook Padma Lakshmi, Oprah’s gal pal Gayle King, hip hop impressarios Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Jay-Z, rocker Billy Joe Armstrong and supermodels Iman, Christy Turlington and Petra Nemcova.

Awwww Alicia Keys looks beautiful! She never seems to get it all put together right but I think she looks great here. She is so talented so it really doesn’t matter but it is nice to see her looking happy and healthy.
I am not a Jumpsuit fan by any means, but Gwen looks amazing. Wow- I love her look tonight.
Wow I thought Sheryl Crow was Felicity Huffman.
I love Gwen’s understated look here. Make up, hair, black outfit…. spells perfect in my books.
I love Alicia Keys and she looks soooo hot!
Wow. I hate all three looks (though I like the women wearing them - hee).
Alicia looks amazing, the rest are adequate.
I thought Sheryl Chrow looked like Melora Hardin (Jan from The Office) in that top pic.
Gwen tops all!!!!!!!
Bono looks like a PIMP in that last pic.
Everyone looks great but of course they have to look good how else would they help cure aids?! Sheryl tries too hard. She’s not as ‘earthy’ as she thinks.
All look good, except Sheryl, i am not a fan of that type of look. I don’t like her bone structure or her thin and narrow features.
FOR ONCE I am totally feeling A.Keys and her looks in the past few weeks. Do it then!!!! Cheryl is a big NO and Gwen gets a MEEEH…
Whose ugly kids are those?
it’s billie joe armstrong, not billy
