She can most often be found in a pair of mom jeans and a hoodie, but Jennifer Garner certainly knows how to glam it up when the occasion calls for it.
Working the red carpet solo in a strapless dress with an interesting blue leaf applique all over it, the 37-year-old working mom got in touch with her inner movie star as she attended the L.A. premiere of her new flick The Invention of Lying held at the Grauman’s Chinese theatre in Hollywood last night (September 21).
Joined by co-stars Ricky Gervais and Rob Lowe, Jen dazzled photogs and onlookers alike as she posed for photos and answered a slew of questions before presenting her critically-praised comedy. At one point, the flick was almost delayed as Ben Affleck’s better half spent a little too long greeting fans across the way on Hollywood Blvd.
Directed by Matthew Robinson, the movie is a satire in which no one except Gervais is capable of telling a lie. As a result, his character is openly dismissed as a fat, dumpy, ugly loser.
The Invention of Lying opens in theaters nationwide on October 2.

The movie looks like it will flop.
Something about her sharp bone structure, wide back and muscles that are not very feminine, not to mention ghostly pale.
Audiences are no longer buying what HW is ramming down our throats.

I have no problem giving her credit for having such a great bod after cranking out two kids. But that dress is a total snoozer, and she really needs to do something with her hair.
