During a recent trip Down Under where Joel Madden was touring with his band, the Good Charlotte frontman took time out of his busy schedule to join his babymama Nicole Richie for a photo-shoot in the current issue of Australia Ok! magazine.
Aussieland holds a special place in the couples’ heart as it’s most likely the country where their baby was conceived. Says Joel: “When you think about what goes into conceiving a baby, that’s a pretty personal question. Only a scientist can tell…but there is a very good possibility that it was [conceived in Australia]!”
Nicole on pregnancy: “I’m in a really good place. I really couldn’t be happier.”Joel on a potential wedding: “I am in love with her. I want to get married. I’m excited. This is the best thing that’s ever happened to us.”

hey theyre cute, obviously in love, and . sure it wont last but what relationship does? let them be happy while they can. nicole looks better than she has for years and the daddy is a cutie. i hope they call the baby sydney.
And they have such a long history together for this to be the best thing that ever happened to them. I expect a custody battle that is ugly and nastier than Spears/Federline.
How can some of you say that they “look so in love” in these pictures? They look more like friends to me. They are just standing next to each other in some of the pictures. The one that he is touching her hand looks like one of those cheesy posed mall photographer photos. I just don’t see all the love.
And I have nothing against this couple at all - I just think they will be together for a repectable amount of time after the baby is born, and then they will move on. I just don’t see romance when I look at them. I see “Oops - well lets make it work.”
I freakin love Nicole. I think they’re adorable and I’m happy for them. I’m glad to see how Nicole has turned her life around, too.
