Our Lady Peace frontman Raine Maida busks at the corner of Yonge and Dundas on Thursday with a mission to raise $30 000 to build a school in The Congo.
Raine, in partnership with Warchild Canada, went to different areas in downtown Toronto to raise awareness.

Our Lady Peace SUCKS. I can’t stand their whiny music. It totally grates on my every nerve. I seriously wonder how crappy music like that can get radio play. ????

I remember that special. It was so great…The musician life is a great one, when a person has a sense of humor about it like Jann.

well i’ll be damned i go to school 1 minute from there and i didnt see him
i think it’s really sweet what he’s doing, but it can’t be very effective. i have a really hard time trusting buskers/people holding buckets on the street who claim they’re giving the money to charity. i can never be sure if it’s actually going to the cause they’re saying. what if it’s just a bucket with a sticker on it?
OLP does not suck…they are awesome! and i dont think they are whiny! ….this stuff ends up on the radio cause its good and people like it….stupid songs about shoes, cars and girls are the ones that need to be kept off the radio! and i also dont agree with him being an arrogant asshole….i spent quite a few hours with him on thurs and he was so nice…he was nice to me and talked to me all the times ive met him in the past as well.
