Sarah Silverman looked bold in blue as she arrived at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 20).

On the red carpet, the 38-year-old funny girl echoed the feelings of many when she said, “Oh my God, I’m dying” in the LA heat. On getting the call for her nomination for lead in a comedy series, she said: “I looked at my cellphone and I thought my mother had died.”

Did she prepare a speech? No, but “I made a couple of bullet points. The category is ridiculous. I know it’s very unlikely but I do want to win.”

She was right. Sarah lost out to Aussie actress Toni Collette for her work in United States Of Tara.

Awards have become as irrelevant as the news media.

She looks awful! Why would she choose such a ridiculous dress? It doesn’t suit her at all. Stay true to yourself, Sarah!
